The New Terminator Trailer Will Blow Your Mind

Is this Terminator at a rave? Is he so pumped for the drop? Nope, this is just a taste of the kind of killing machines the new Terminator: Genisys has cooked up and will be releasing on the world this July 1st. Is Arnold back though?

 

Duh.

The thing about this Terminator is there is a serious amount of time travel. The kind that will rewrite history entirely and allow Genisys to basically restart the entire franchise while forgetting about the sins of the past. John Conner is still sending Kyle Reese back in time to pretty much sleep with his own mom so he can be born, but Kyle shows up in a timeline completely unlike the one he was expecting, or the one Terminator viewers know.

Where are my dragon…I mean Terminators?!

Emilia Clarke, best known for playing everyone’s favorite Queen/Mother of Dragons/emotional yeller from Game of Thrones will be playing the seminal role of Sarah Conner. It was first played by Linda Hamilton (and actually Lena Headey aka Queen Cersei for a time). Arnold plays a Terminator that has aged conveniently to appear similar to the real Arnold. You’ve got acting chops, you’ve got Arnold, you’ve got confusing time travel, what more could you ask for?

Yep, that happened. Also, a recent set visit showed that the new owners of the rights to the franchise are heavily invested, emotionally and financially, in assuring this movie and it’s subsequent sequels become a success.
